Wellness Day: an onsite wellbeing program for your team
A Wellness Day brings expert-led wellbeing activities to your own workplace. Your HR team sets the schedule and picks the experts; employees reserve the activities they want, at no cost to them.
What is a Wellness Day?
A Serene for Business program your HR team schedules for a specific day, bringing certified onsite-eligible experts to your workplace to run wellbeing activities employees can choose to attend.
HR selects the date, the activities, and the experts. Employees browse what's available and reserve a seat in the activities that interest them — no company approval needed per employee, and no cost to the employee. Every activity is led by a vetted expert eligible for onsite delivery. Looking for something smaller-scale or recurring instead? See 1:1 and group sessions.
How it works for HR
Set up a Wellness Day in a few steps.
Choose the date and overall time window.
Add one or more activities, each with its own time slot and seat capacity.
Select an eligible expert for each activity.
Confirm the program — this charges your company 20 credits for the whole day.
Employees can then browse and reserve the day's activities.
You can cancel a single activity or the entire Wellness Day afterward if plans change — see Cancellation below.
How it works for employees
Once your HR team has scheduled a Wellness Day, its activities appear for you to browse.
Each activity shows how many seats are left. Reserve any activity you want to attend — there's no cost to you for reserving. If your plans change, you can cancel your own reservation and free up the seat for someone else.
Activities & wellbeing pillars
Wellness Day activities are tagged to one of Serene's five wellbeing pillars, so your team can see at a glance what kind of activity they're reserving.
Your HR team chooses which activities and experts to include for each Wellness Day — a program doesn't need to include every pillar, and the specific mix is decided as part of setting up each program.
Expert-led, onsite experience
Wellness Day takes place at your company's own workplace.
You provide the location; Serene brings the experts to you. Serene doesn't operate its own physical wellness venues — every Wellness Day happens wherever your team already works.
Credits & pricing
A Wellness Day costs your company 20 credits, charged once when you confirm the program.
This is a flat program charge — it doesn't change based on how many activities you add or how many employees reserve a seat. Wellness Day credits come from the same credit pool as your other Serene sessions; see Pricing for how credit packs work.
Cancellation
Company cancellation
If your company cancels a Wellness Day, the 20 credits are refunded in full.
Employee cancellation
Employees can cancel their own activity reservation. No refund is needed — reserving an activity was never charged to the employee.
